Skoda Enyaq iV Founders Edition: 50 examples allocated for UK

Skoda has confirmed that just 50 examples of the limited-run 'Founders Edition' of its electric family SUV will be coming to the UK

Skoda has confirmed that 50 examples of the special 'Founders Edition' version of the Enyaq iV electric SUV will be available to order in the UK, priced from £46,725 on the road.

The car features a series of distinctive visual elements inside and out to set it apart from the regular Enyaq iV. It gets the larger 82kWh battery, 331-mile range and single 201bhp electric motor of the Enyaq 80 model, along with 125kW rapid-charging, but misses out on the extra power and four-wheel drive of the Enyaq 80x.

The Founders Edition is available in either Black Magic or Arctic Silver metallic paint finishes and comes with 21-inch 'Aquarius' black alloy wheels as standard. The eye-catching 'Crystal Face' grille, incorporating over 130 LEDs in 18 vertical strips, is also standard on this version.

A gloss-black finish is applied to the grille frame, window frames and roof rails, as well as the rear diffuser. There's also coloured lettering on the tailgate (black for Arctic Silver cars and copper for Black Magic examples) and a special Founders Edition badge on the front wing.

Inside, there's a numbered plaque on the steering wheel (pictured above), as well as decorative strips finished in sleek piano black. The seats are upholstered in black leather with cognac brown piping, while the textile floor mats also feature cognac brown piping around the edges. Black headlining, a three-spoke leather heated multifunction steering wheel, aluminium pedals, rear privacy glass and acoustic side windows also feature.

Across all markets, a total of 1,895 Founders Edition Enyaq iVs will be produced. The number is a reference to Skoda's foundation in 1895 by Václav Laurin and Václav Klement. The Enyaq iV's sister models, the Volkswagen ID.4 and Audi Q4 e-tron, also have special limited-edition models in their line-up, in the form of the ID.4 1st Edition and Q4 e-tron Launch Edition respectively.
